Having trouble with making an account in Facebook

Recently I tried to create a Facebook account by the name of “Rainbow Shop”. But it prompted me back with error that this name can’t be created. Not because this name has been already taken, since I tried so many names with the word “shop” but the error kept alerting.

I wonder if this is because of the word “Shop”? probably, Facebook has decided to restrict creating an account with any names containing the word “Shop” in order to customize the site only for people and not be a business-oriented place? How much this assumption can be true?

Do we have any accounts/profiles whose names contain the word “shop”?

The “proper” way to this is to make a Facebook account for you as an individual, then that account can make a Facebook Page for your business.

It’s likely to be a spam thing too - I’m sure Facebook deletes thousands of profiles promoting fake stores every day.

Left hand side of your profile page, scroll down, there should be something there, you might have to click on a few things before the button to “create a page” appears (I do, but I have two pages as well as my profile)
