Hawaii 5-0

I just downloaded the theme from Napster, and have played it at least five times in the last hour, confirming my belief that it is, indeed, the coolest TV theme song ever.

If anyone out there is silly enough not to hold this opinion, which TV show songs do you think qualify for the title?

Your going to think I’m completely nuts, but I’ve always liked the opening to Matlock.

And before I forget, I also dig the opening and closing to ‘Unsolved Mysteries’. DDD… Dummmmm Ch… chchchch chaa… DDDD… Dummmm.

Nobody looked better in a blue suit than Steve McGarrett.

The peppy bass line… the weird “popping” sounds…

It’s gotta be…

the them from Seinfeld!

Yup, that’s my vote for the coolest TV theme song.

Er, make that the theme from Seinfeld.

“Gilligan’s Island” Sure it’s a simple tune and mindless lyrics, but you can’t get the damn thing out of your head. You’re probably humming it right now.

Well, sure I am, now, thanks very much ;).

And Cnote, I don’t think you’re nuts, just, you know, kind of…outside the box.

“Mission: Impossible”. Hands down, no question.

In another thread I mentioned my yet unburned CD entitled The Ultimate T.V. and Movie Instrumental Extravaganza!
Here is my updated line up.
Twilight Zone
Taxi
The Simpsons
Peter Gunn
Pink Pnather
Mannix
Hill St. Blues
Mission Impossible
Sanford and Son
Swat
Sienfeld
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Star Wars
Peanuts
Bewitched
Barney Miller
I Dream of Genie
Chariots of Fire
Hawaii 5-0

Now all I have to do is find a CD that’ll hold it all. That and learn how to burn CD’s on my computer. [slight highjack] The CD drive on my computer is supposed to be able to do this, but it won’t read a blank CD. Does anyone know why?[/ slight highjack]

Mindless lyrics you can’t get out of your head?

A horse is a horse…
