As far as the bible thumpers vs the Hollywood libruls, I don’t much like the Hollywood crowd myself, but they for all their weirdness are a LOT more benign than the Dominionist Radical Religious types. And, as we all have learned from the Republican playbook, anything could be spun even if it is an outright lie. Just make sure the lie is big enough. The fact that there ARE questions about hanging chads and other things in Florida could be useful if embellished, spun, and exaggerated. Maybe Jeb will save us all the trouble and get busted for cocaine or white slavery or something. Or even better, maybe he will have do us the courtesy of having a massive stroke and become a vegetable.

The public is tired of Bushes. Gore the snore should’ve been a shoo-in for 00, but the public was tired of success. Well, Poo-fer-brains has been a disaster and unless everybody’s boss gives them a big raise (those who still have jobs), people are going to view any Bush as more of the same. I think that the Republicans will go with McCain should he choose to run.
As for how low can Bush go? Well, the polls can dip far below where they now are. I’m looking to 30 percent if there are no Plamegate indictments by this time next year. 25 percent if there are. Meaning that 25 percent are just that dumb.

Jebbie forgot that if you saddle your charger, don your white plume and ride out to rescue the maiden fair, you need to actually bring the babe back.
