headmaster walker, I pit thee

You’re very right.

“That’s specious reasoning, Dad.”
“Thank you, Lisa.”

…and I was wondering who was walking the headmaster?

Of course, who pays for all this testing? It’s not free.

I think most employee testing programs are probably urine tests. Just an fyi.

I agree that the random tests don’t make much sense. At my workplace, there are infrequent random tests, plus testing for anyone involved in a workplace accident. The latter makes sense; the former doesn’t.

I wish I can remember one just to cite it, but there have been many studies proving the obvious. I don’t know about 11 year olds, but there are a hell of a lot more 14 year olds doing grass than 1 in 600. I don’t need a study to believe that.

I think all drug testing is an invasion of privacy. However I don’t believe children should have the same rights , but their guardians do and if they feel they have an extra tool in monitoring the mental health of their charges then I’m all for it.

Perhaps in all of England. But the studies we found here were about kids who had tried pot once in the last year- very much different that used recently. And, a small private school in Wales may or may not have the same demographics. Then again, the sample size was flawed as parents had to give permission. Lastly, the kids had enough warning to temporarily stop toking, just for long enough to test negative. In other words, his vaunted score in meaningless.
