Night Shade Books has already started issuing the collected Hammer’s Slammers stories, and it looks like they’re continuing to release more material from David Drake–Balefires will be a collection of his horror and fantasy short stories. Drake is primarily known for his military SF, but his short horror fiction is well worth reading and not much of it has been printed in a long time. If you have an opportunity to get a copy of this book, it should definitely be worth it.
