Health Effects of Roundup?

I recently did some work today with a mixture of industrial chemicals similar to Roundup (Glyphos and/or Glycen I think). Although I did none of the spraying I was exposed to the fumes for about 4 hours (300 gallons) intermittently.

Body suits and gloves were provided but a protective mask was not provided.

I am wondering if anyone knows the short term and long term effects of this exposure? And was the ammount of exposure I got enough for some sort of lasting effect? Next time (if there is one) I will be bringing my own mask anyways. My searches with Google couldn’t find the kind of information I was looking for, but what I did find didn’t sound so good. If anyone has some answers your knowledge would be greatly appreciated :slight_smile:

Any mask that you bring in probably won’t have any effect. The white felt masks you get at the hardware store will just protect you against particulates (dust), not gasses (fumes). It’s very difficult to make a mask that will keep dangerous gasses out, but allow oxygen through.
