I know an old lady who wants to get a hearing aid and has done the favor of charging me with getting her information. She wants good quality and especially has trouble distinguishing between hearing s and f. Seed sounds like feed to her and vice versa.
So here’s my question: are there hearing devices particularly well suited to this problem and which ones get the best bang for the buck? The lady in question is severely worried about being taken advantage of. I’m throwing this one out to dopers because damn if I know how to get decent information. Thanks.
