This whole neighborhood like most in the last 20 years or so has undergone facelifts,so what WAS Hell’s Kitchen is only a shadow of it’s onetime inglorious past.In days gone by a bastion of the “Irish mafia.”
Don’t know what it’s morphed into,but I’m sure some longtime NYC residents on the board will fill you in with current,and historical,details.
The once Irish mob infested Hell’s Kichen is now known as the slightly more upscale Clinton section of Manhattan.
