Help finding Old Fashioned "Blowing Cloud Face" illustration

Before I throw in the towel, I remembered the Straight Dope might help-I’ve been searching in vain for a very specific image- any vintage illustration of a cloud with a face, blowing wind- specifically 1800s/early 1900’s style. I can picture it it my mind, I know I’ve seen dozens of variations over the years- It needs to be old (closest I’ve found have been modern made, sort of in that style) I’m looking for the real thing. Copyright doesn’t matter, this is just going to be used on wedding favors.

This isn’t a “need answer fast” emergency or anything, but just in case someone out there might know of something specific that I don’t know, beyond searching “blowing cloud face” (and a thousand other similar variants)- I figured it’s worth a shot!

I just did a Google image search for North Wind and came up with several that look like what you’re after.

Here.

Got a few different returns from **picunurse **from Google Image Search: “Old Man Winter illustration” “North Wind cloud illustration” and “Jack Frost illustration”

This specific one may be about what you’re looking for.

Perfect, thanks all, can’t believe I didn’t think of those search terms :smack:

Another search term would be Aeolus, the Greek God of Winds

Dang! I thought you were talking about this.

Thank you for that - I was trying to remember that name all night last night!

Googling the word Boreas won’t get you much useful, but if you go to a good illustrated heraldry website or book, looking up Boreas will get you the image.
