Help - I need suggestions for a clever white elephant Christmas gift

I want to come up with something unusual, something fun, something that is unexpected, something that everyone will be fighting over.

The limit is $15. Ideally, it would be suited to a fairly wide variety of potential giftees. The theme is entertainment, but that can be very loosely interpreted.

Links (to a website, not sausage) would be most helpful.

Thanks!

Moved Cafe Society --> MPSIMS.

I don’t mind my posts being moved, but I do wish I could get the hang of what goes where.

From the Cafe Society intro:* if it’s about creativity, entertainment, or leisure, it goes here.*

These words, I thought, pretty much sum up my post.

I’m not seeing gift-buying as an example of any of the three.

You’re asking for opinions, so my thought was IMHO, but I suppose this is considered mundane and pointless?

I don’t understand either.

We have abackward clock that my husband got from a white elephant party years ago. Everyone who comes to our house is intrigued with it, and we have had many people ask us to sell it to them.

My thoughts were:
Creativity: I am specifically looking for creative gifts.
Entertainment: The theme is, specifically, entertainment.
Leisure: I would think holidays fall into the category of leisure.

In any event, this is not a big deal.

That clock is actually pretty cool. It is on my ‘possible’ list.

At the last white elephant christmas deal that I attended the item that was most coveted was a framed poster of The Three Stooges. It was an ultra cheapy poster frame but the poster itself was a classic shot.

is it common to call it “white elephant” ? it’s always been secret santa to me.

edit: just remembered that episode of the office. you trade gifts… sorry. carry on.

I have Genuine pickled minotaur fetus I can sell you for that price.

Doper discount.

The last one of these I went to, the hottest item, believe it or not, was a pack of really nice, warm socks! I think it’s one of those things that you don’t necessarily by for yourself. It was a primarily female group, so that may have influenced the prevailing opinion.
