On the show Gilmore Girls, there is a painting hanging in the Gilmore Estate of which I would like to know the artist and name.
Here is the best shot of it I can find online. A brunette in a gold-ish dress in the top right corner. It looks a lot more gold in the close up shots.
I am almost certain this painting was in my Early American Art History class, but I can’t seem to pinpoint it. I thought it might be a Copley, but I don’t see anything listed that would match. Possibly a false memory, but it does look like it would belong to either the 18th or 19th century US portrait period. Any ideas?
