Help identify this bird? 2 note song.

South central Wisconsin. It’s 2 tone that sounds more like someone whistling than actual birdsong. Second tone is lower pitched than first. Obviously can’t replicate it here but hoping for suggestions to look up to ID it. As always, thanks in advance.

There’s more than a few birdsong I.D. apps available on your smartphone.

Chickadee? This is a 3-note call, but sometimes it’s just 2. Black-capped Chickadee Sounds, All About Birds, Cornell Lab of Ornithology

Sadly, it’s tonally like “Here, Kitty,” which is a poor choice on the bird’s part.

I’m guessing chickadee too.

most definitely a black capped chickadee

Your simple description is a rare time its easy to identify.

Yes, I know that. The reason I posted here was I didn’t want to listen to a thousand damn birds to find something out.

Thanks to the rest. I believe it’s a chickadee. Never noticed the 3rd note but it seems they often do only 2. Or my hearing is going the way of my hair.
