So I was reading a book one day about a society that decided emotions are frowned upon so engineered something to suppress them. There is this guy who’s father was working to return emotions. His son didn’t know, and he was given a package and had to run. The package was a serum that he drank and it returned his emotions. I think it was a series.
It wasn’t The Giver, I remember that fear was one of the emotions that was allowed. On that note I actually remember what it was now. It was Forbidden of The Books Of Mortals series.
