Ok, TM’s, I need your help…
I’ve googled without success and am hoping this rings a bell with someone.
Microsoft used to have a game that was free but usually didn’t get downloaded with hearts, free cell, or minesweeper. It was a very cool adventure game, but I can’t remember what it was called.
General things I remember:
It had over 100 levels in the game. Each level having a password to protect it, so a player could, as long as he wrote down the password, go directly to the level he last solved.
There was a certain level, that once cleared would basically warp you to near the final level.
There was one player, and you moved him through each level by finding a door or an exit. He Was controlled by the arrow keys. And he had to find a certain number of keys before getting to the door sometimes, while other levels were timed. He moved one square space at a time, and sometimes he was able to slide across the game layout if there was ice depicted, for example.
I remember very little about the game other than what I’m writing here. The games character was a man, and like most two diminutional adventure games, it had objects to avoid, tools to pick up along the way, etc.
Can anyone help me out? I’ve been racking my brain and can only remember bits and pieces. This game would have been available on a windows (and I think unix) platform. Usually the sys. Admin. didnt load it because it took up too much memory, but obviously it did get downloaded enough for me to play with it.
That a about all I can recall at the moment. If someone can help with this, I’d be.grateful.
Any questions, I’ll do my best to answer. The little guy was white, I believe, if that helps.
Thanks
