The female ferret is about 8 months old and was first int he household…the male is about 6 months old, arrived about 3 months ago. Recently the male has been obsessively biting the female’s ears, to the point of drawing blood and making the female cry out in pain. The poor thing’s ears are all cut up and bloody. Is this one of those cases where the male is just not going to ever get along with the female and should be removed from the situation, or is there some kind of training trick that will put a stop to this?
