I hope I didn’t come off as rude, I think it’s a gorgeous dress and it’s cool the women planned to dress similarly. I just feel the pressure of black tie :slight_smile: Do you feel comfortable with decorative clips or hairpins in your hair?

Hi, Lynne, if you’re considering gastric bypass, I’d be happy to share my experiences. There are several of us GBS folks on the board. I know they’d jump in, too, with advice and stories. We can start a separate thread if you’re interested. Just to give you the nutshell version:

  • I felt no pain
  • I had no complications
  • I’ve gone from size 26 to a size 10-12 since May 2006
  • my cholesteral and BP were high but now they’re normal.
  • I seldom feel hunger any more
  • and I’m still losing!

I’m picturing that hairstyle and color with that dress and it sounds beautiful!

I’d go with pearls too.

Is something like this too much for a shoe, or do you prefer closed toe? It just looks sort of festive
