Help me come up with a "Battlestar Galactica" book for publication

I’d go for “Technical Manual”—with all the ship effects done with CGI, you already have ready access to decent “three-view” diagram source material. (A request, though: Make sure to include size/scale data, and some decent diagrams of missiles and other munitions!)

Plus, aside from ships (you might include all the ships of the fleet as a “fold out” section), you could include bits on personal equipment and weapons, uniform design, shipboard systems, etc. I guarantee the fanboys will snap this up like there’s no tomorrow, especially if it has concrete data that hasn’t been published before. (Heck, look at Franz Joseph’s Star Fleet Technical Manual: a collection of fairly dry, long out of date, and basically unofficial diagrams and technical descriptions of the Star Trek universe, originally published in 1975…I just saw some newly printed copies in Borders about a week ago. Once a fanbase latches onto something, it’s impossible to shake 'em off.)

Something like the Wizardology book but all growsed up would be a good idea if people are hungry for blueprints and a scrapbook feel.
