fizzes, sounds like we’re from the same neck of the woods. I don’t have any plans for escaping, as I really like it here. If you don’t mind me asking, what town are you from? I live in Bristol, and am familiar with most of the smaller surrounding towns, but can’t think of one without a MickeyD’s. I know Marion, Galax, Big Stone Gap, etc. all have them. I’m intrigued!

In all seriousness, the road trip is a good idea. Go to all those places you’ve been wanting to visit. If you’re feeling really ambitious, get a trailer for your bicycle, and bike cross-country. Be prepared to live on peanut butter, though…

Grelby Oh I simply adore Portland. My sister lives there so she showed me all the fun places to go when I was there. Saturday Market, Powell’s bookstore, Spartucus the porn shop, the Lloyd Center…It’s a great city. And it’s so…friendly? I’m planning on going back for another visit as soon as I have the money.
