Here’s the requisite picture. I’ve named him Chooch (Cherokee for ‘boy’) and he’s part french bulldog (mom was French Bulldog, dad unknown but I’m guessing Chihuahua?) He’s a rescue guy and 10 months old.
I got him last night and he’s my first dog ever. The poor little guy is hating going outside to go potty as the Minnesota winter is just too cold for his little paws and he starts to shiver after a minute out there.
So I went to Petsmart today and the outfits weren’t well…I’d rather not look like I’m pulling this dog out of my manpurse and the Harley outfits aren’t my cuppa either. So where’s a good online place for my little 11.4 lb guy? And are booties worth it?
You might also take a look at REI and the various sporting goods stores. They’ll probably be geared more toward labs and other large dogs, but you may get lucky. Also consider Chuck and Don’s Pet Food Outlet. I remember noticing they carried boots recently.
Thanks all, I got the booties at PetCo and he is quite comical with them on. Poor little guy thinks his paws are Pete Townshend doing the windmill when he walks. I’ve got three jackets on order now. Woohoo!
