These were both written by one Bob Belviso. I first came across them in either Willard Espy’s marvelous Almanac of Words at Play or its sequel, Another Almanac of Words at Play (I forget which; they’re both excellent). Sadly, they’re both out of print, but can be found at used bookstores or online.
The online versions have a few obvious typos, but you’ll get the gist.
