Help me ID this '90s(?) TV show

I saw the last half of one episode of a TV comedy show years ago; from time to time I wonder whether there were any more, what happened to the stars, and what its frickin’ name was. Can the Teeming Millions help me?

I remember the stars: a man and a woman, both incredibly ruthless advertising types, who were nonetheless attracted to each other.

I remember that they were trying to outsmart each other, outdo each other, and undermine each other.

I remember that the male lead also owned a muffin shop, with a couple of adorably stupid muffin-makers.

I remember that the male lead, having briefly convinced the female lead that he was only a “Scottish muffin boy,” then revealed his true profession, convinced her that the dimwitted muffin-makers were actually top copywriters, and fooled her into hiring them away from him at insane salaries.

I also remember that when they finally hooked up, he came into the shop singing “I’ve got a girlfriend, I’ve got a girlfriend, and she’s just like me, which is why she’s my girlfriend!”

Any ideas?

Ned and Stacey starring Thomas Hayden Church (post-Wings) and Debra Messing (pre-Will & Grace)?

Ahhhh! Thanks! The episode was “Sex, Lies, and Commercials” from the second season. And the “female lead” was only there for a few episodes. Cool.

AAAaaaaamandalicious!
