It wasn’t an “educational” film, but I suspect it was intended to tie in with the unit on Great Britain we were working on at the time:
It was filmed in B&W, probably around 1960. A gang of school children (in London, I think) was building a hutch for their pet rabbit. The saw they were using (which I think belonged to one of their dads) broke on a nail, and we followed them around the city trying to scrape up enough money to buy a replacement. They succeeded in doing so, and of course the film ended with the new saw getting broke on the same nail.
I know this is on the Internet, since I found it on line 20 years ago, but can’t find it now.
