Hmmm, I like the name Boink or Boing. It would work well for a high-strung kitten.
Bill. Like Bill the Cat (Ack! Ack! Pffft!)
By the way, AnimistDragon, you were wondering:
It’s onomatopoeia.
Scratch (good dragon name too)
Scritch
Thud
Flooze (this is the sound they make when they take up your half of the bed: feline ooze).
Meep
Or Beep, Bleep or Ding.
Go for the one named after a bass album Thonk by Michael Manring.
“Cat” might be the obvious choice… or “Pussy” or “Thing” or “Fluffy” or something else equally inane… if it’s black call it “Blacky” if it’s white, call it “Snowy”, if it’s orange call it “Ginger”… if it’s fluffy call it “Fluffy” … if it doesn’t behave, call it “Little Shit”… Cats don’t give a flying F*ck what their name might be, as long as they get the love, food and attention that they THINK they deserve… BTW - I do honestly love cats, but really??? If you can’t think about a name for a cat without “consulting a forum” … well, I feel sorry for that poor cat! No insult intended.
I don’t like those rules
Name it Snufflephloofiesquoosh
What about calling it “AAAAAAARGH!”
(Or “Aieeee!”)
I kinda like “Thud” too.
I was fostering a really cute, fluffy, peaches-'n-cream coloured kitten.
We called him Faust.
His adoptive family renamed him Q-tip
M: Mr. Akbar
F: Mary Elizabeth Rachel Yiddell Abergavenny Slocombe (it’s long, but I like it)
Gender Neutral: Tiddles
So, AnimistDragon, what’s the decision?
Where are the pictures?
The suspence is killing us.
Yoink.
Zoom? or even better, Zoom-Zoom.
Not me.
Ow. That does kind of smart, though. You know, after awhile.
…Or even more better (
), Zoom-zoom-zoom, and you can nickname him Camry…
Wait a minute, the zoom-zoom-zoom thing is Mazda, I think–and a Camry is Toyota, no?
