I’m pretty sure it was from the 80s. I don’t remember all the details but this is what I remember:
A couple’s child was kidnapped and the police had no clues. One day they receive a letter/phone call from someone telling them that the name of their son/daughter has been mysteriously scrawled on the Berlin Wall, so they go over to investigate. There seemed to be on explanation for it. I wondered what has happened to that story. Does anybody remember this?
