Help me remember this murder case: Virginia, angry writing on sidewalk/driveway

I was talking with someone today and we vaguely recalled a murder that made the news here in northern Virginia or Maryland a few years ago. Man found dead, angry writing in chalk or spray paint on the sidewalk or driveway. Wife was charged. She had lots of pets…birds I think? Maybe this happened in Fairfax County or Potomac?

If I could get a name I could Google to my heart’s content anf read how the case turned out. I just tried Googling, using different combinations of key words, for about 20 minutes and came up blank.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

It’s not important really, but one of those things that bugs me when I can almost remember it.

This happened not far from me, and I know one of their neighbors. Apparently the husband also had boxes and boxes of porn, which the wife didn’t like.
