Help me remove the win32.BlueBalls virus

Help,

I’ve got the win32.blueballs virus. It has managed to attach itself to every important file on my computer. I’ve been searching for a resolution but most virus websites just call it “harmless.” My biggest problem is that it is clogging up my virus scanner.

Is there a solution to this?

What virus scanner found the infected files? Symantec says it’s a hoax. McAfee and Trend Micro don’t list it at all. Have you tried a different scanner, like HouseCall?
