help me sleep tonight...

Earlier today, a friend and I were having a discussion about a mutual acquaintance and my friend made a comments about him saying, “He’s just immature.”

Well, ever since then I’ve been hearing what I’m pretty sure is a movie quote in my head and for the life of me I can’t figure out where I’ve heard it from and who says it.

The person who says it says, “He’s immature! He’s just immature!” I keep thinking it’s Joe Pesci saying it with a very over the top accent. The way he say “immature”, possibly a heavy New York accent. My Cousin Vinny? Goodfellas?

If you know it, what was the scene? Who was he talking about?

I had it on the tip of my tongue and the more I try to replicate it, I’m starting to lose how it sounds.

Help me get this out of my head…please

Googling that phrase garners no hits including on IMDB. Sorry, can’t help.

Ok, not many replies. Well, none, but I scanned the web and found the movie line I was looking for. woo hoo! Restful sleep followed. Problem was, my description of it was way off.

Anyone who’s seen the movie Private Parts, which I have several times. Duh! I got the dialogue floating in my thoughts.

The last scene of the movie, Howard Stern’s ex-program director, who they call Pig Vomit, played by Paul Giamotti says with a southern accent (not a NY accent) a line about Howard being immature. The way he says it kinda stuck with me.
Ok…carry on.
