I think the point is that many of the protestors are not well educated on the real issues or are really anti-american/pro-communist and THEY have placards that are silly. We are trying to make a little fun of that fact. Like their “no blood for oil” signs. The issue has been debated in many threads here of late.
I’m sorry… I’ll try to keep this so it doesn’t need to go to the pit…
You talk about the protestors and their lack of education on the real issues in the same sentence that you mention that the protestors must be “pro-communist” when Iraq isn’t a Communist nation!

Her choice of wording this topic leaves it open to both sides.
She is perfectly capable of being specific if she wants.
“Would you support the war if Hussein was named Smith instead?”

I’m sorry, but in order to fit that on a standard sign you would have to write it too small to be “camera friendly”.
If you must turn this into a debate or rant, please condense it to a clever quip or catchphrase.

There was a picture of a dead Iraqi Soldier on the front of one of the Sunday papers. Slumped against the side of a trench with obvious wounds to the head area. A white flag still in his hand. Blow this pic up and you’ve got a very good anti war placard.
I saw an excellent anti-war placard a while back, before this whole ungodly mess started.
