Going to have to change my plans for enticing my friend onto the Straight Dope. One of the threads I was going to use(and I’ll see him on Tuesday the 25th) was the one about striking a blow against Fred Phelps. That one, sorry to say, seems to be in difficulties. So except for Coldfire’s thread about May 5th, 1945, I’m just going to stick to the funny stuff. I did find the thread again in which Kimstu and Gilligan did those WONDERFUL song parodies.
