Help me with the name of a piece of music

My father asked me if I could remember the name of a march that was played at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday. I know the melody, and can hear the orchestration in my head. I remember playing it in high school, but I can’t remember the name.

It’s the one that goes (I’ll give it a shot) Buuuuum bah bum bah buuuum, bum ba bum buuuuum, bum bah buuuuuuuuuum.

If anybody can get the melody out of that and give me the name I’d appreciate it.

I can’t make head nor tail of that, but you might see if MelodyHound can help you out.

I remember hearing a march from the Saving Private Ryan score by John Williams during the live coverage. It might have been “Revisiting Normandy”; I can’t say for certain because I only heard it briefly and in passing. It was around the time that Tom Hanks had finished speaking and the actor who followed him was describing his real-life experience on Omaha Beach.

Perhaps it was something by Mr. John Philip Sousa.

Hmm, this sounds vaguely familiar.

Perhaps this: “National Emblem” - Bagley, second half. Starts at 1:44 in the MP3 linked to on this page (track 13): Home

That’s it! Many thanks.
