You’ll have a lot more luck if you tell us what this is for. This board has a strict “no doing homework for people” policy, and people are going to be reluctant to respond if they think you’re just trying to avoid doing your homework.
Without answering any of the questions, (3) isn’t good English with any of the choices, and at least three and possibly all four of the choices are valid for (4), which seems to be more about ecology than English. Perhaps the OP should feed this back to his teachers.
May be there is no correct answers in these questions,I don’t want to ask my teacher.Beacuse if I ask her ,she will say"do you believe me?Why do you ask me these questions which haven’t ture answers"
The questions do have correct answers - they aren’t tricks or anything.
It does seem like some of them are a little bit forced, maybe because the author was struggling to construct the examples. Or maybe the author isn’t a native English speaker either (see: “getting down my blood pressure” rather than “bringing down”).
OK, now* that * question can’t be answered, because the whole thing is ungrammatical. Depending on how you fix the question, you could come up with any one of the answers.
No, for the last one, the answer should be “will be cut”, which isn’t one of the options. All the options are equally wrong. And “at near future” should be “in the near future”.
“Are being cut” is present tense. It means it is happening right now.
“Will be cut” is future tense. It means it is not happening yet, but it will be.
There is no way to pick a correct answer to that question without changing the question. I don’t think your teacher’s English is worse than yours but it might not be much better.
As others have said, we don’t do homework for people. But I like being helpful, so I’ll correct the questions:
(1) The doctor advised me to take this kind of medicine because it has_____ reducing high blood pressure.
A. an effect on B. some effect on C. the effect for D. the effect of
(Hint: One correct answer.)
(3)Could you please recommend a present for my girl friend’s birthday,_____ is at a reasonable price but of great use?
A. that B. one C. which D. what
(Hint: Two correct answers, one of which is a better choice.)
(4)Animals can become unusually_____ when they are upset by a sudden environmental change.
A. aggressive B. progressive C. active D. productive
(Hint: Two answers are reasonable, but one is better than the other.)
(5)It is reported that in western countries over one million couples have their marriage_____ every year.
A. dissolved B. departed C. deserted D. distrusted
(Hint: One correct answer.)
