Help on a book (Jeanne Valois' autobiography?)

I’d appreciate any help you guys could give me on this.

My mom just saw The Affair of the Necklace today. Apparently, the main character (IRL a real person), Jeanne Valois, wrote an autobiography, and Mom would like to read it.

Problem is, I can’t find any info whatsoever on it. Amazon was no help (closest match: The Memoirs of Marguerite de Valois) and Google just returned hits about the movie.

So, anybody have any idea? Is it even a real book? Thanks.

I found this one, published in 1791: The life of Jane de St. Remy de Valois, heretofore Countess de La Motte by Jeanne de Saint-Rémy de Valois La Motte. You might be able to get this through InterLibrary Loan, but I wouldn’t countess on it.

Hmm that sounds like it could be it. I’ll check it out, and thanks!
