This has been an ongoing problem. The Adobe Download Manager pops up and it says “Waiting for connection…” forever. I have waited for hours and it never gets a connection. I have looked through all the help on the Adobe web site to no avail.
Anyone know what I can do? I need Adobe Reader ASAP.

Does it have to be Adobe Reader? If all you need to do is read PDF’s, there are other, less buggy alternatives available.
