I was travleling on the night of the Friends finale. I set my VCR to record both the hour long re-cap special and then the actual show, but the last few minutes got cut off! The last I saw was everyone in Monica’s and Chandler’s empty apartment…what happens next?

I’m not sure if I’m remembering correctly, but it’s kind of just a big goodbye scene. They are talking about how they’ll miss each other and they decide to go have coffee before leaving. Monica remembers that she was supposed to leave the landlady the key to the apartment. So she sets it down on the counter and then one by one each cast member digs out their key to Monica’s place and sets it down also. Then they leave and the last scene is the empty picture frame on Monica’s door.
