I know there have been a lot of these lately, but this has been bugging me for years, and I have finally decided to get help! You guys are (hopefully) the help.
Probably about 20 years ago, I read a fantasy book that had (as I remember) a pretty typical arrogant warrior type as the hero. He had to escort a young woman …somewhere… and the only other detail I remember is that when she wept, the tears were gemstones of some kind. The stones had a name but I have no clue what they were called. I don’t even remember if I thought the book was good, honestly.
Ring any bells for anyone out there?
