Help with eBay bidding strageties

El Hubbo and I thought we’d gotten scammed on eBay too. We bought a Microsoft Office '97 CD ROM for $30.00. Two weeks later, we hadn’t received it and I started writing e-mail. Got a total of five replies - two saying it would be at our house in a week, one saying that the seller found out that the CDs were pirated and was procuring new ones, then two more saying it would be at our house in a week.

Two months after the auction ended, we got our Microsoft Office '97 CD ROM.

Two months and two weeks after the auction ended, we got another one.

Woo-hoo! Well worth the wait!

Most common question I ask: “What?”
Most common question I get: “Are you really hearing impaired?”

I got a nice set of kidneys, but got sniped on the newborn baby.

Damn.

HubZilla,
ROFL!!!

Well, I’m up to my old E-bay tricks again…
I recently got:
Audiobook: “Walter Cronkite- a reporters life”

a Citrus Express for $7 (including shipping)

an Electric Knife for $6,
and in 20 minutes I’m going to try to snipe someone and get a Lands End fleece jacket I’m eyeballing…wish me luck (I feel so sneaky doing that)

Some mornings it just doesn’t seem worth it to gnaw through the leather straps.
