Help With Euro Sizes, Please!

I’m taking some t-shirts to my nephews in Germany for Christmas, and their sizes are 138, and between 116-122. Can someone please help me convert these to US sizes?

Google’s sizing only goes up to 95 in children’s sizing, so I’m at a loss.

This time of the year there are many many new DIARIES on sale. Choose a good quality one and in it you will find an information page showing all the various shoe, collar, dress etc. sizes used by many areas, all cross referenced.(Childrens and Adult sizes included)

Evidently German sizes are not the same as European sizes. Bavarian Shopping Mall has a chart of German clothing sizes for children. The size represents the height of the child in centimeters. Converting to inches and consulting a chart on this page, it looks like your size 138 becomes size 10-12 (or M) and the 116 to 122 becomes size 6 (or XS).
