Help with Learning Spanish - TV, videos, etc.

I don’t know if they can be podcast, but again rtve.es - the R stands for Radio.

They have children’s programs, music programs of all sorts (radio 3 has lots of interviews with the artists), educational programs from UNED

Yep, that’s why I recommended it  I linked to the wiki entry but I should’ve included the link to the online site where you can watch the series and learn more as you progress:

http://learner.org/series/destinos/

I found it helpful myself and also enjoyed it.

If you have a decent internet connection, there’s a website called italki.com where you can set up language exchanges with native speakers (say 20 minutes English/20 minutes in Spanish or whatever you choose). If you don’t have someone to practice with, it can be a good way to get time in speaking and listening for free.

Thanx! Bookmarking it.

25 days into my new language project and still going at it. Duolingo is a really good fit for me. Not perfect, but I’m getting daily study without it feeling too much like a chore. I’ve been watching Destinos, too. Again, not perfect (the explanation of how to use the program/course is tedious) but yes, the story is interesting.

Most days I do my 20-30 minutes of Duolingo. On my days off I expand it to about an hour, with an episode of Destinos or some vocabulary/verb/whatever drilling I’ve found on line

I love Duolingo, I use it for French as a way to accompany my class. Good practice. Good luck on keeping it up.
