On November 28th I board the Carnival Liberty for seven days of drinking and… stuff. Mostly drinking. And maybe a little reading on the deck.
I’ll read just about anything - fiction, nonfiction, memoirs, biographies, you name it. I’d prefer something not too dense, however (so a tome of Antonin Scalia’s ruminations on Supreme Court proceedings would be out). I do loves me some horror, comedy, and sci-fi/fantasy.
So far I’m planning on tackling:
A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole (I’ve never read it! An article on cracked.com said it’s the funniest book ever written, so…)
John Dies at the End by David Wong
Any other recommendations?
