Charles Van Doren dead at 93.

Wish I could post a link but I’m doing this from my iPhone which is also dying.

The Quiz Show Scandals were before my time, but I saw the movie. I can only guess that the scandal itself must’ve been more interesting than that flat-footed flick.

Anybody remember the scandals first hand? How big a deal were they?

Marty, they had him miss Marty.

Mostly what I remember and that is only from the movie.

My parents told me it was a big deal and killed the big prize game shows for a while, leaving mostly the small prize panel shows.
