WARNING may not turn out so well in other parts of the USA, you may have to adjust language and in my experience cops in the south don’t detach so easily expect to start with the “am I being detained?”.

Would’ve had a much different outcome without the video camera. Come to think, having a video camera doesn’t always prevent a much different outcome.

Really, people. It isn’t a magic phrase, and it won’t make anything better. If anything, it will make the officer think you’re one of those Sovereign Citizen/Freemen On The Land/Citizens Of The State Of <Insert State Here> morons who might just up and decide to draw a gun on them in retaliation for being “unlawfully detained”. Yes, laws do apply to you, and, yes, the police can stop you according to their version of what they think is mere suspicion. And even if they can’t, their tazer, pepper spray, and gun says they can.
