Here - taste this in the MMP

True dat. We were actually fairly tuckered by the end of the 2.3 miles, so the pace was a little brisker than usual.

Headed for the Portland Thorns game in about an hour. The women on the US team aren’t back in harness yet, but these are always energetic games, win or lose.

Yeah, I think Buddy looks a little big for a pure Chi-Hua-Hua too.

I got drafted into working sales again yesterday afternoon. Our total as of last night night stood at 45 pieces sold and $12k+ taken in.

What year what year what year?

I had a Tr 4-A – 1966.

What I always wanted was a Tr 7 ------- one of the real early rolling wedge ones. Remember the ads with the triangular garages?

[/QUOTE]

In my misspent youth I had, at one time or another, a '56 TR2, a '57 TR3, and a '64 Tr4. The TR3 was my favorite though.

For a little while there was a business just down the road from us that took the motors out of TR7s and outfitted them with electric motors. I wanted one, but by the time I had the money they had gone out of business. :frowning:
(The motors in TR7s weren’t very good.)

Afternoon all. Have not accomplished much of anything today, trying to get back on a ‘regular’ schedule by Moanday. Nappage has been accomplished, as have today’s Sudoku’s.

LA John, good luck with the cat hunt.

Spidey, regarding cannon firing, physics always wins.

Thunder rolling around but most of the rain is on the Mississippi side of the border. In fact, looking at the NWS radar, the entire state of Mississippi is being rained on…

All y’all take care.

I’ve got a chickie rotissiin’ away and there’s rice in the steamer. After I feed the dogs, I’ll cook up some Amish green beans with onions. We’ll have a healthy supper.

Why isn’t ice cream as healthy?? Life is so unfair… :stuck_out_tongue:

I know what you mean Moooommm. I could live on ice cream. :frowning:

I just got back from bringing my mom’s dog inside. It’s a billion degrees outside and too hot for doggies. She won’t come inside if my mom’s not home unless I go and get stand next to her and bring her in. Silly dog.

Just got one of those IRS scam phone calls, warning of dire consequences if I didn’t call them immediately. So happy that they’re including me in this, as I was feeling left out.

But have you been yelled at in Chinese yet? That one is fun.

Supposedly AT&T will be blocking spam calls automatically - dare I hope???

Supper was yum. Time to chill.

We brought Goo home. She’s hiding under a table, and Tonka is curious.

Johnny, I got an error message for Goo :frowning: but Sammy is a cutie.

Heathenated, home, got the Sunday chores knocked out and took Nelson to the dog park for a brief run. After KP, it’s chill.

I guess they took the post down when we adopted her. I’ll get some pics when she comes out of hiding. Right now she’s behind a curtain in the corner of the front room. Tonka didn’t seem to mind her. He went outside.

Howdy Y’all! Just realized I had not posted since this mornin’. How awful! Nuttin’ much to report. We deheathenated, I did ush duty without any major mishaps, we et N.O.L., got back to da cave and achieved nappage. We had a supply Priest this mornin’. OK, he’s not exactly a stranger as Fr. Jim was once upon a time the Priest at good ol’ St. Pat’s. Matter of fact he retired from St. Pat’s. So, good to see him and his wife this mornin’. I did accomplish haulin’ the biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can all the way down to the road for pickup tomorrow, so I am not a total waste of oxygen today.

FlyBoy yay for new kitteh!

Evening all. Dined out (LoneStar Steak House) and just beat the rain shower back home.

LA John, hope the adoption goes well at home.

FCM/Sunny, I thought Butter Pecan ice cream was healthy…

All y’all take care and I’ll see you on the next MMP.

I have at&t and I will get calls with a spam warning with the number display. However, I can block them after I get the call and then I don’t get the calls at all.
I wish at&t had the feature my house phone has where I can block ALL numbers except the ones I want to let through.
I didn’t answer an important call the other day because I didn’t recognize the number. I guess if I could block all numbers I wouldn’t have gotten it at all.

I cannot believe the phone companies can’t find a way to stop the calls.
I wonder how many numbers a person can block, I block anywhere from 5 to 10 every day. I hope there is no limit.

I am tired. I finally got all my flowers planted, and we put down 4 more bags of mulch. There are 3 left and I think they should just go out front. My son was grumpy though, so only the back yard got done. I got a lot more weeding done, I seldom see a dandelion anymore, I’ve made a huge dent in the broad leaf plantains, and now I’m working on the mock strawberries.
I did a bunch more trimming too, I cannot believe how fast some of the stuff out there grows. I think one of the plants out there is some kind of bamboo. It has a hollow stalk and not matter how much I cut it back or pull it out, it come right back.
I made a ham with fart blossoms for me, and ordered pizza for him.

New kitty post.

Squee! She’s a pretty one.

shes not happy to be there yet…

Worked, stopped at Dram& Draught for Sunday sign off. half priced pints!

Flyboy, You picked a good one in Goo.

Mrs. L.A. did the picking. I had no say in it. I just paid the fifty simoleons. :stuck_out_tongue:

(But yeah, she’s adorable! )

Jeez, Alex Catt was only $15, because of a bad shoulder. Funny, she only limps when she wants something from me.:dubious:
