All Saints
the Specials
Sam Cooke
Eddie and the Cruisers
Starland Vocal Band (hey, I’m getting desperate, here! <g>)
Disco Tex & The Sex-O-Lites
It was Disco Tex & the Sex-O-Lettes <g>…and I’m coming up with anymore ‘S’ names!
Soft Cell
Thank you! Laibach
Laibach? Was that one of Johann Sebastian’s dozen or so kids?H…HÜSKER DÜ, game over?
Ultravox
Alright, here we go…(I’m new here, by the way)
Ralph Nader and the Downtown Gerbils, Banana-Seated Bicycle, Radioactive Turnips, Yogurt Throwers, Anal Probe, Madenning Utensils, Round Forks, Shave the Males, My Big Toe, Alan Alda’s Underpants, The Britney Spear Guns(OK, so that one isn’t mine, whatever), Juice Boxer Rebellion, Alphabet Cereal Killers, Don’t Name Your Band This, Armpit Waders, Dead Cells…I could go on like this, but I won’t.
More X names? Sigh… all right…
XC-NN
(hey, I found it in my music encyclopedia, okay?)
Oh, and BlueMit11… I respectfully suggest you read the OP. Just a thought!
NIN
NOFX (by the way, ozonebaby, initials don’t count unless that’s the real name for the band. Therefore, this is really a response to Flamsterette_X).
but it is their name. they use it instead of the entire thing, nine inch nails.
LindyHopper, we really will have to go to duplicates, triplicates, etc. on the “X” names. Not that it’s a huge problem, especially given the length of this thread.
Back to the game:
XTC
(there, another duplicate… I could have posted “X-Ray Spex” or “Xymox”, but I didn’t really want to go into a lot of “X” names all at once)
Yeah, I thought of those two also, but they were the only “X” names I could think of; good job.
ozonebaby: When Trent Reznor refers to the name of his band in interviews, he does not call them “NIN”; he calls them “Nine Inch Nails”.
Anyhoo:
The Cramps (I’m not counting the “the”; hope thats all right)
I don’t think “the” counts, of course its not my game .
Suicidal Tendencies
