Here's a riddle..

My friends just reminded me of this one tonight, so I thought I’d share it with all of you:

What is greater than God and more evil than the devil? The rich don’t need it, and the poor have it. Yet, if you eat it, you will die.
So any takers on this one? (yes, I know the answer and will post it at a later date if nobody gets it within a certain time frame)

Nothing.

What do you know? You got it in one!

Not that it was that hard, after all…

How many roads must a man walk down before he can call himself a man?

What is the answer to life, the universe, and everything?

well, in CA I don’t think you’re allowed to walk…

42

Speaker, do I look like one of those old men atop mountains that have the answers to the meaning of life? I have no idea… but thanks for trying!

lurkernomore, does the 42 have to do with Douglas Adams?

one.

life=sex=death. enjoy!

Of course…

The aliens decide that they’re going to set “How many roads can a man…” as the question, remember :stuck_out_tongue:

Zero.

Shouldn't the second line in your riddle be, "The rich NEED it,
   the poor have it." ?

[replacing toothpick in special SDMB scabbard]

Hey, it was sort of late when I posted that, so forgive me! Although you could say that the rich “don’t need nothing”… meaning, they need something… which in this case would be nothing! Isn’t that like the same thing? Or have I just managed to confuse everyone again?
