The latest thing I’ve heard is that the black box from this plane has been found. Peter Jennings hasn’t discussed it yet, so I’m guessing they don’t know much, but we’ll find out soon enough.
In my eyes, every person on those planes is a hero. Whether they fought back, were killed during the hijack or died in the crash, they died for this country and for our freedom.
The first box they found was the flight data recorder. Better than nothing but not the voice recorded. They have pings from at least one of the recorders in the Pentagon crash.
There is no evidence that any thing other than passenger action prevented the faux Moslem terrorists from achieving their objective, but FWIW apparently an F-16 was in hot pursuit of Flight 93.
Really, beatle? I’ve heard rumors of that, but as far as I knew they were of the same sort as the “everything in NY/DC is being bombed” type that were flying around on Tuesday.
If that’s true, then I apologize to notguilty for the sarcasm. Actually, I apologize regardless–it’s hard to tell what’s going on for sure in many cases, and I had no business jumping on him/her for it. My bad, in a bad, bad week.
