"He's from the future!"

So my wife is riding The Bus in Waikiki. At one of the stops, a rather imposing looking Japanese man gets on the bus. His head is shaved and he’s wearing dark tinted wrap around sunglasses. He is dressed in unrelieved black and his pants appear to be leather or vinyl. He has black leather combat boots, a steel-studded leather belt, and a few other metal adornments.

He is wearing a long black trench coat depite the fact that it is 80 degrees and sunny.

My wife leans over to the little boy next to her and whispers, “He’s from the future!”

This is why I love her.

“Honey, don’t look at him, I don’t wanna turn into an Agent.”

Is it possible your wife is remembering the Seinfeld episode where Jerry is introduced to Elaine’s ‘current’ bald-headed, leather clad boyfriend (who ends up going ‘bald’) at Monk’s, and after he leaves asks Elaine ‘Is he from the future?’
Or maybe she just saw too many '80s post-apocalyptic movies…

The moment I know my girlfriend was “the one” was when we were watching “The Strangers.”

It’s a very forgettable movie, but there’s one scene where the girl grabs a paring knife because that’s all she could find.

My girlfriends then says, “I hope it’s a giant pear!”

I don’t know why, but that stupid comment still makes me laugh.

Jerry was also from the future, and knew that this would be hilarious once Heroes aired.

Did he have a soul patch? If so; definitely from the future.

No. I don’t think it was Seinfeld. It was the 80’s bad Sci-fi look. I think the belt was actually that metal “pyramid” studded belt, so popular with the 80’s punk scene.

And yes, I think he had a soul patch. You’ve seen him?
