Very nice link, TroubleAgain. thanks! Here’s another link to New Caledonian Crow researcher. It’s a simple research summary page (I believe he was the first to report the tool-use in the wild), but it’s got a cool stamp toward the bottom that shows the crow in action, with a few of the tools.

Crows and their ilk are terrific birds to work with, but very frustrating. If you catch them, they’ll remember you so many of us wear disguises. I didn’t, and haven’t cannon-netted crows at Cook College for several years (they all became too trap-wary), and yet they STILL recognize me, screaming crow epitaphs at me when they see me.
And their babies have the cutest blue eyes. :slight_smile:
