Hey, bad bad bad Beck can eat 'drunkin' picante sauce. (Canned some to day)

I didn’t have much to offer the cooks. I did a bunch of chopping, tho’.

My sister is here (her recipe).
Mid-D and the Li’l wrekker helped. Son-of-a-wrek helped as well.

There is a bit of sugar in it. Not too much. We had about 40 pounds of tomatoes. Fresh from the garden. Peppers, celery, lots of Vidalia onions. Lots of spices.
And Vodka.

Let me tell you it smelled so good. I wanted to eat it in a bowl with spoon.
I had to wait til it was done tho’.
I needed to test the sugar content. Tomato generally has a bunch of sugar built in.
These were Bradley county Pink tomatoes. They have less sugar I’ve found. I grow them every year (well, Son has done the work this year)

It was finally done.
OMG. It’s very good.
I dare say it’s the best picante I’ve ever eaten.

I was at the table, they were at the stove.
I can make picante sauce it just don’t taste as good as hers was.
