Did anyone else hear that horrible loud rushing or roaring noise at about 5:00 a.m. today? It continued for perhaps a half an hour. I sleepily thought it was perhaps a very noisy freight train, but as it continued I got up and stood in my front yard to try to judge where it was coming from. It distinctly came from the northeast (of Morgan Hill) and was extremely loud. It sounded like the world’s loudest jet engine in the distance. It finally ebbed and died out at about 5:30.
Any clue?
