Have fun in the offseason fuckheads. Hope you enjoyed your renewed series with the Stars. Obviously you can’t hang with us skillwise, you have to resort to attacking our goalie. Your team is a bunch of fucking thugs, have fun watching us continue our march. Fuck you.
Jesus, it’s just a game, pal.
Congratulations on your win!
ahem How many Canadians on your team again?
I’m surprised you could follow the game without the glowing blue puck!:wally

Dude, take a chill-pill.
Hey, that was pretty rude! Those guys aren’t even Edmontonians!
TexasSpur, I don’t know how long you have been watching hockey, but the tactic of running the goalie is as old as Igor Larionov. It is also the sign of a team that is desparate, and the Oilers needed to win the game.
The rules say that ‘incidental contact’ with a goalie is allowed, granted I would say that at least 1 event tonight was intentional. But a goalie that leaves the crease to play the puck as often as Turco does, isn’t going to get as many calls as a goalie that stays put. If you want to get angry over the officiating from game 6, then be critical of the cross check penalty that was called on Hatcher in the third period. Also, be thankful that Turco wasn’t called for diving, which he could have been, twice.
The idea is to get out of the first round as healthy as possible and the Stars did that.
Turco likes playing the rough stuff so he gets a little bit back. Suddenly, it’s all unfair. Nice audition he had for the NHL diving squad… too bad he looked doubly foolish since his own man pushed the Oiler into him. Your team won the series fair and square so there’s no need to start whining about Turco’s treatment.
When a goalie gets hit 4 times in the first 8 minutes of a game, it’s obvious that team’s deliberate strategy is to injure the goalie. Edmonton knew that they could not hang with Dallas, and their strategy was to injure Turco and to get Hatcher riled up. That’s pussy hockey.
I can’t imagine how cheap they would play if we had Guerin, Turgeon, and Arnott playing.
Again, the tactic is nothing new. Did you see any of the previous 5 playoff series between these teams? These teams don’t like each other and what they did to Turco was nothing compared to what they did to Belfour in years past.
Whine, whine, whine. The only thing worse than a sore loser is a sore winner.
Personally, i’d be quite happy to see the NHL change the rules so that contact with the goalie - incidental or otherwise - were legal as soon as he stepped out of his crease. Or at least when he goes behind the net to play the puck.
(Didn’t see the game in question, so i can’t comment on specific incidents)
Did you happen to watch other games between the Stars and Oilers?
Dallas constantly shoved the Edmonton players into the boards, every chance they got. I’d say for every six hits the Stars gave the Oilers the Oilers gave one back. I don’t know about you, but after that many games with that many hits, I’d be pretty pissed off.
I’m sure the OP is just trying to compensate for his misfortune at having to live in Texas by placing tremendous importance on the success of his hockey team. Have fun masturbating through the second round, putz.
